Turkey Burgers
Turkey Burger Recipe
Ingredients
1lb Ground lean turkey
1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Red Onion, finely chopped
1 large garlic clove, minced
1/2-1 jalapeno (depending on heat tolerance), finely chopped
Dash Paprika
Dash Cayenne
Kosher Salt and Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
Pepper Jack Cheese slices, for serving
Brioche Buns, for serving
Any additional burger toppings to your preference, I recommend Chipotle mayo, lettuce and avocado!
Mix all ingredients (except oil, cheese, buns, toppings) in a bowl together and form into 3 large or 4 medium sized patties.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium high, add 2 Tbsp Avocado oil (chose this because it has a higher smoke point than olive oil but is still healthier than vegetable oil) and cook for 4 minutes on both sides.
Add cheese with about 30 seconds left on the second side and cover.
Toast buns and add patties & desired toppings
